Getting Started

New players should start with a beginner clinic at Forum. The Foundations of Pickleball program covers rules, technique, and court awareness before a player enters general open play. Forum also runs a beginner social ladder for players around the 2.25 to 2.75 level, which gives newer players a structured next step after the clinic. Beginner clinics and programs

Open Play, Leagues, and Tournaments

Forum's open play uses rotating games and welcomes players across skill levels. Registration is handled through its booking system, making this the practical option for someone arriving without three partners.

Forum runs partner leagues and individual ladder leagues from beginner social play through advanced competition. Tournament formats include singles, doubles, and round robin play. The Delano Fourth of July celebration also holds an annual pickleball tournament at Forum with round robin play followed by an elimination bracket. Delano Fourth of July tournament

Visiting Delano

A solo visitor should register for open play at Forum. Rotating games provide a direct path onto the court without arranging a foursome, and the indoor setting removes weather concerns. Players can also reserve a private court through the mobile booking system.

Visitors bringing partners can play free at Riverway Park during the outdoor season. The courts stay open into the evening with lights, and the park is convenient for a casual game. Bring your own playing equipment and water.
